Publisher’s plum cloth for vol. 1, volume 2, same cloth with marbled edges, no text on the spine, gilt crested on the front cover (rubbing to the spine of vol. 2). In volume we find text & 91 plates. Volume 2 offers 5 folding illustrations & 8 fold. Maps (This set lacks a folded profile, would be plate 14). Arthur Oliver Wheeler was a leader of the Alpine Club and this set of books represent a comprehensive account of the Selkirk Mountains near the Canadian Pacific Railway line. VG, even considering the lack of one folder. (24 cm).    275 $
