Author, John Alexander Macdonell (1851-1930) was an Ontario lawyer and he also worked for Sir John A. Macdonald. This title deals mainly with Scottish-Canadian military history, 1775-1840s, with emphasis on Glengarry and references to Stormont & Dundas Counties, the American Revolution, the War of 1812 and the Rebellion of 1837; it includes biographical sketches and name lists of grantees and militiamen.    Morley, p. 58.    325 $
