Alphabetically handbook contains a descripive list of the stocks, confederacies, tribes, tribal divisions and settlements north of Mexico, including the Inuits, accompanied by the various names by which these have been called, also with biographies of natives of known, sketches of their history, archeology, arts, manners, customs & institutions, and the aboriginal words incorporated into the English language.
