Being 32 beautiful card photographs mostly about Quebec, some about British Columbia, with explanatory text for each, offered in printed card wrappers. Publisher inscribes that nearly two billion dollars in wealth is created each year in Canada by industries depending on our forests for their raw materials; to make these raw materials available, about 150,000 men are employed each year in cutting down the trees and moving them from forest to mill or market, business known as logging. The pictures in this folder tell the story of logging and its importance to Canada; they show what the forests are like, how the trees are cut down and transported, and some of their main uses. A very nice item. (Inv. #14670)
